Guy who ignored my friend texted me on Hinge. Should I reply?

So some weeks ago, I was out at a park with my friend and we met this group of guys. We exchanged instagrams. For context, im 20F, my friend is 21F and the guys were like 25-28. So anyways, we will call one of those guys Sam. 2 days later, Sam texts my friend on Instagram and tells her they should go for a swim sometime. She replies "yeah maybe we can take a walk first" and he left her on read and never replied back. Been 2 weeks now since.

I myself am an artist, I draw really well and post it on my insta stories. Sam regularly replies to these stories with emojis like " 🔥" or with a comment like "wow!". It's nice, i mean he's complimenting my art :). So Im on Hinge (dating app), and I just saw that he found me there and sent me the following message "Well well look who hangs here too!🥳".

On my Hinge profile, I mention that im only using the app to find a friend willing to play darts with me at the pub once a week :D! Anyways, should I be nice and reply to him? What should I say? Or should I ignore him since he ignored my friend? What should I reply exactly?
