Does this mean anything if a friends of a guy I've been talking to started being kind, caring and super gentle towards me? They've never or even noticed me prior to when me and their friend started talking. Do you he told them to treat me differently? If yes why would he?

I mean, it's possible he said something to them. Not sure exactly what because I've never dealt with that, but I'd guess that if people you didn't interaction with who are associated with someone you're romantically involved with start acting positively towards you it'd have something to do with him. He might have just asked them to be nice to get on your good side or they're talking notice because you're someone their friend cares about. Long as they're being respectful then don't worry about it. It's clearly not a bad sign and you can always ask him later if you're curious.
