Do men actually like flat stomachs or is that just a girl belief?

I’ve always wondered this because I hear girls talking about flat stomachs, but never hear men saying they desire or require that. Do men prefer completely flat bellies, a little something to grab, or a handful? I know it’s objective, but I’d still like to hear you guys’ opinions, especially if you’re under 30 (since that’s my age group).

Is it something we prefer or desire?
Yes, to some degree.
But honestly it's not really realistic for most modern humans.
It's really only possible if you live a ancient hunter-gatherer lifestyle *and* have never had children nor experienced outright hunger but still have never had any excess food.
So even back then it was extremely rare.
It's not anything we expect today, simply because it's just not realistic in a healthy woman in todays world.

@Losalt I agree not required. Certainly desired. I'm not sure where the last line is coming from though, regarding not realistic. I could show you 30 women tomorrow that fit the description. There's tons of people who DO still take care of themselves even though the county as a whole is getting so obese. Every outdoor activity I attend there are women with flat stomachs there.

Lots of women are under the impression that men are just these super judgmental, caustic, hypercritical (and hypocritical) assholes. It's just not true.

If we cared about even 20% of what women think we care about, no one would reproduce.

Depends on the guy. Physically women tend to like all like the same thing, fit men. For guys it’s more complicated. There’s some guys who like a flat stomach, some guys won’t date a girl who isn’t big. My personally I don’t mind a little extra as long as it’s not to an unhealthy point. I really don't care for flat stomachs. I prefer the look and feel of belly fat/bloated. As for how much? It doesn't really matter as long it's proportionate with the rest of her body.

I like a girl w a smooth, nice flat stomach. I don’t mean a six pack either, not into that. Now I understand over time things change I’m ok w that as far as her having a little tummy, maybe from having kids.
