Why does a guy block only one of my whatsapp accounts even after I contacted him on the account that isn't blocked, twice?

For context on how and probably why I got blocked read two of my comments below, I need advice on what to do and what this whole situation could mean, really wanna get over this guy.

I've done this because I deleted the number while it was still blocked. I didn't block the other number because I didn't want to react emotionally to the person.

I left them unblocked to give them a chance to apologize since the chance of rekindling has long sailed.

Now, I won't block them ever since I no longer care. They are just there.

For context me and this guy were hooking up right so the last time I saw him I went to his dorm and slept over for the first time in the morning his ex came by and acted all hysterical and crying because I was there apparently they started talking again explaining her reaction so after the drama, apologies and heartbreak of the situation I went home didn't speak to the guy at the end of the day he blocked me and unblocked and called me three days later apologizing and explaining that he needs to self reflect and figure out what to do between the situation between himself, me amd his ex amd that he blocked me cz he thought of apologising and texting and that he thought i didn't wanna hear any of it he also wished me luck with the year and semester and reblocked me again after the call. Before the call I texted him on whatsapp business after I found out I was blocked to check if he was okay stating I couldn't text the other account because I noticed he blocked me (didn't reply) but called as stated above so a day after on the whatsapp that wasn't blocked I asked to come over when he wasn't busy for closure purposes ( that was dumb of me didn't know why I said that cz it would've been awkward as hell sleeping w ssomeone for the last time that broke your heart and whom u love the shit out of who also isn't your boyfriend ) he answered and told me hed answer me in the morning I read through notification and never answered “okay” so he deleted the text thinking I didn't see the reply so I wrote back and told him i saw his text and it's okay if he didn't want to, now im confused as to why he doesn't block both my whatsapp accounts if he clearly wants nothing to do with me and that he clearly sees that i can still text him?

Also thought about doing that but I'm demisexual and I'm scared if I just sleep with someone the same thing might happen I've always been intimate in only relationships until this person, what also confuses me is that he broke up with his ex the first time due to long distance she's from Zimbabwe meaning she's on a student visa and they go to the same college and she goes home after every semester/school break and me and him we're from the same country and province and he lives 2-3 hours away when he is at his home and 30 min away from me when in college (we go to different colleges)
