Should I sue them for defamation of character?

found out awhile go my old boss was giving me bad references. then was trying to get a job from a guy he called corporate to get a references. He did not leave on good terms, however. He resigned before he was let go due to a Loss Prevention investigation. He is not re-hireable.

but there was no Loss Prevention investigation. on me

is it worth time & money to fight this sometimes i think no

Sue her for defamation of character and fraud and see if you can get her fired from her job and banned from working as a manager

she might have quit i saw ajob posting for my old store they are looking for a manager
