Should I give up on him?

I have been talking to this guy for a while and we talk every day. I have noticed he has been a little distant but I understand as he actually has been busy with work and school. He texted me good morning this morning (like he does every morning) and asked how I am doing, I responded but he hasn’t texted me back and it’s been over 2 hours. I went on Instagram and noticed he posted a story a few minutes ago about a football game that’s on. Should I be worried?

Wait you aren't serious are you? Two hours and you're going to give up on him? That's like mega needy if you can't go two hours of no contact without giving up on someone. You even say he is busy with work and school. Like what do you expect? He can't have two hours to himself? You need to back off or you're going to smother him eventually.
