Guy's Behavior

Should I just give up on him?

I have been talking to this one guy he is a year older and stuff but I don't know I think I should leave him alone because maybe I am kind of catching feelings but hear me out!! He is for sure busy like 24/7 he is at school and studies for important exams and stuff but we still chat like everyday but sometimes he leaves me on delivered and after like some hours he goes like "Hi I'm done with studying" or "Hi I just came home" or "Hii I woke up" so I try not to look at it too much. My friends are acting delusional because of some emojis he sends like "have a good day😉" "thank you😉" or "you're welcome😉" but I don't think it's special. Though after he asked me about my mbti he told me that he thought I was an E (extrovert) and I told him that I thought he was an I (introvert) and he pulls with "at first I am shy but as I get close I become an E"!! Also he knows I love football and today he sent me a video after he woke up I suppose because I was still asleep during that time and it was a football edit (soccer). I also was there when he once texted at like 4am "I can't sleep" so he told me that he was overthinking (personal) and me being me gave him advice and he was so thankful!! I just wanted your guys opinion, should I keep him as a friend or maybe I could try to make him like me?
Should I just give up on him?
