When it comes to the concept of being "impressed," I have noticed that yes, I do catch people staring occasionally, particularly women. However, I don't believe it goes beyond mere admiration. It seems that some people mistake being impressed with a notion of attractiveness.
It has been my experience that the majority of women don't care about our cars per se; they care about the status of being seen in the car, and evenentually as they get older, then the relative comfort of the seats and getting in/out starts to matter. Finding a woman who is genuinely into cars is not impossible, but it's like winning a low-level lottery.
I guess it depends on the girl but I would say yes Most girls do , when I had my Camero and Corvette when I was younger , I would get girls’ flirting with me like crazy and giving me their phone numbers etc.. . Most girls are drawn to status and money , when they see a guy with a nice car they automatically assume he is wealthy and has his shit together , but little did they realize I wasn’t into Gold diggers , Baskcally thanks for a good time but not a long time
I drive a Honda Civic.. I don't think they are impressed. I also make high six figures and have over a million in the bank so the civic helps me hide some of that I think. It's a nice clean car though. I like it.
Normally they don’t even recognize cars. Most women I have met refer to cars around them by their color. 😂 But I have met one woman who was different. Different in the sense that she was a pure gold digger. 😳
My wife didn’t even know the symbols for Mercedes or BMW until we owned them. To me that was shocking. She also didn’t know more modest care brands either to be fair.
BUT some women definitely know when you have a nice car… they don’t understand why they are expensive but they kjow it cost a lot of money and they make the assumption that the person who drives it has a lot of money, which very well may jot be true.
clean, smells good, powerful and fast, I’m an excellent driver. truck is just a reflection of me and it’s a tool. I got it because I like it and could afford it. Not to impress anyone.
I have a whip, by the way. (I saw it in a catalog and remembered r all my Indiana Jones fantasies as a kid so I bought one. Sometimes I feel like a big kid).
I think that many, if not all, girls get impressed by material things.
Material things increase the attraction with the final step to be the guy himself.
It is not wrong! But at the same time, judging by only these things is a bit problematic on the girls' side. The same can be said for guys as well. I am not targeting girls only.
So yes, girls do get impressed by the car. More so, how well the car is kept, rather than the car herself.
I had attached a link to an article stating iPhone users had 76% more chance of getting matched on dating apps or something like that. I don’t know why the link got removed here.
No, it's a car that gets you from A to B. Girls will see the colour first a few will see past that but most want a smooth ride and a car you can seat in without getting on the floor, I have pulled as many girls in my work van, and it has a big bed in for more comfort.
It used to be like this with older cars but modern ones sometimes need to be checked into a dealership to change the fkin bulbs. it's a scam and with everything being flat screen this that and the next thing, a computer science and electronic engineering degree are needed to get to the simple faults. A bomb car that you can fix yourself takes lots of time though spent fixing them and money which could be spent on something less annoying.
@Shiprex soo true. I had to sell my car (only a 2013) because the computer was going crazy in it. Kept shutting down randomly while driving, had tons of battery problems even after being replaced multiple times. Even after turning it in to be fixed professionally few times it didn't fix all the issues. Was such a headache. I'd be crazy impressed if anyone could keep that car running
I doubt it- I've never driven anything expensive or flashy. That's for the best, though; the kind of woman who's deeply impressed by a fancy car isn't the kind of woman I'd be a good match for anyway.
The only thing that I care about is that it's clean and in a good state. If your car if full of rubbish that is a turn off. But I don't care if you drive an old cheap car or something more fancy
I don’t care about anyone’s car or whether they even have a car. I am trying to find a husband so all I care about is if he is stable enough to raise two children with and is a nice man and that I am physically attracted to him.
@Apple1996 now I'm driving an Acura, but a few years ago, when I called a woman who had responded to my personal ad, when I told her what kind of car I was driving, she decided not to meet me.

In this economy, a man with an outrageous car is either a soon to be broke, scammable cryptobro, an irresponsible poser, or a Daddy's money baby.
In rare cases, they're legit.
But they're more likely to drive a sensible car at that point.
I'm not impressed. But some cars (PT cruisers or pedo vans as old as they are) are red flags.
PT cruising guys reading this thinking what did they do wrong minding their own business driving to work.
They drove a PT Cruiser.
It’s not that bad of a car lol.

Honda accord here.
They will last us forever lol
As long as it’s not a serial killer type of van 🤣. Idc if he doesn’t have one either. Not everyone in the Philippines own a car. Idgaf….
Lol 😆
Yea I thought you blocked me 😭
Me blocked you? Oh no lol. I don't block anyone.
Coz it didn’t allow me to answer at first 😥
Wow that is really weird.
Normally they don’t even recognize cars. Most women I have met refer to cars around them by their color. 😂

In my experience they aren't impressed by flashy cars, but at the same time, not impressed by junkers either.
A friend of mine described her date's car as an ash tray and it was definitely a red flag.
So I guess there's no need for something fancy but don't drive a rust bucket held together by chicken wire and duct tape either.
2020 Chevy Silverado, white.
clean, smells good, powerful and fast, I’m an excellent driver.

This is what impresses me.
"clean, smells good"
"I’m an excellent driver."
If boys today had a responsible roll model you’d see this a lot more.
☺️☺️☺️
I'll whip 'em into shape.
I have a whip, by the way.
(I saw it in a catalog and remembered r all my Indiana Jones fantasies as a kid so I bought one. Sometimes I feel like a big kid).
Fuckin sweet lol
Aww shucks…😉
As long as it ain't gross to sit in, i don't carr what someone drives

I'm more impressed by my own car then to think what the girl's think of my car and I drive a Malibu 2017

I'd be more impressed if a guy had a shit car and kept it running. That takes hard work to keep fixing it
It used to be like this with older cars but modern ones sometimes need to be checked into a dealership to change the fkin bulbs.

Cars don't impressive me, good driving however Does.
Amen
impressive... my multitasking is off today :(
I got what you were saying. 😆
Manual or cheating?
I don’t care about anyone’s car or whether they even have a car. I am trying to find a husband so all I care about is if he is stable enough to raise two children with and is a nice man and that I am physically attracted to him.
I'll tell you this -- if you don't have a nice car, they're often not interested in even meeting you.
What kind of car do you have?
@Apple1996 now I'm driving an Acura, but a few years ago, when I called a woman who had responded to my personal ad, when I told her what kind of car I was driving, she decided not to meet me.
Oh no that's sad she didn't wanna meet you just because of your car 😥
@Apple1996 Exactly, but she was very attractive and I really wish I could have served her.
