Do guys lie about being hurt?

A few months ago he told me “Don’t you think I have feelings” and we stopped talking. Then after months we talked again and he told me “You know you can hurt people with your words right?” Now we just don’t talk anymore.
I asked make friends and my exes and they all agreed to not believe him because men are liars

I mean he’s very handsome, has pretty female friends that’s why I couldn’t believe breaking up with him will hurt him but now it’s been weeks and I think he moved on even though he still watches me

Guys DO lie about being hurt, but they lie by denying they're hurt. If he tells you he's hurt, doesn't speak to you for a while, and then the first time he does speak to you, that's the first thing he says. Yeah, he was hurt and is still hurting.
