We met twice and were friendly to each other and talked quite a lot. He is not my crush or anything like that. But just feel weird and can’t get my head around it. Does he dislike me but still talk to me like friends outside?

Both meetings were with our friends. After the last meeting, I knew his IG from my friend’s tag, so just sent him a request out of courtesy. This is just a friendly IG request, but since he is not accepting it, that kinda got me interested and slightly obsessed what is possibly going wrong here. Although he might not be interested in me, but I mean as friends. It’s not like we are total stranger.

Maybe he doesn't care about insta followers. Maybe he forgot about it and was busy at the time you sent it. Who knows? Point is that it means absolutely nothing in the scheme of things. You two are friendly with each other and unless that changes I would not place any sort of importance on him accepting or not accepting an insta follow. People really have a hangup on what that means. It means nothing nor ever should. Just be happy you get along with the guy in real life. That is the important part.

Some people just don’t want people they don’t know very well on their Instagram. Like me, I don’t add guys I talk to on Instagram because I use my Instagram for specifically following fashion pages. I just don’t want anyone on it.

Another possibility is he has a secret girlfriend you don’t know about looking at his page and following and he doesn’t want you both to cross paths. Especially if his following is low. I wouldn’t read too much into it, it’s no big deal and doesn’t mean disinterested.
