Guys, He always replies but never initiates. He invited me over last week but it didn’t work out. I quit reaching out 4 days ago. What should I do?

Been “talking” for 3.5 months, seen each other twice (long distance). He’s had some hard stuff go on in his life, so I picked up initiation so he wouldn’t be further stressed. He often leaves me on read and sometimes his replies are really dry. He did reply last week to a question 24 hours later when he didn’t hear from me that day. I’m so confused about his mixed signals. It seems he will not initiate a conversation.

I definitely see the confusion & understand as well. As for me I’m not a texter I’m a caller but if I’m on the job when people call they always get my voicemail however I do return my calls.
