I am about to have my first time, any tips?

so basically i am having my first time in 5 hours and I don't know what to do. i am super nervous. i cleaned my room and cut my nails, im heading to shower soon. what can i do to prepare for it? the guy i am about to sleep with is a virgin aswell, we kept it to each other. should i put some light makeup on? like really light? I don't know pls help

I think the two most important things are 1. communicate, and 2. relax.

The first is kind of obvious; sex ranges from "kind of awkward" to "very awkward" when you're not really sure what you're doing, and if you're both virgins, that's basically inevitable. But that's okay- really! This leads into the second part. Lots of virgins spend their lives getting all hyped up about "the first time", and expect fireworks, but sexual skills are like any other kind; they take practice to get good at.

That's not to say it's not enjoyable or satisfying, just that the really amazing times- the ones you tell your grandkids about- come from learning each other's desires and reactions inside and out; being able to react almost before they want you to.
