Guys, 1st date and I'm hooked... Is that bad?

I met him on a dating website. I was out celebrating Friday and invited him to join with every intention of it being a hook up. Well well the hookup turned into him staying awhile. We had tons of mind-blowing sex, but also lots of talking, cuddling and just hanging out. Felt like I had known him a lot longer than I had and was really comfortable around him.

After 36 hours together, he went home. He seemed kind of hesitant to leave and I honestly didn't really want him to, but we both had adulting to do.

He started calling me babe or baby towards the end and he was the first to message a few hours after he left. I don't know if any of that means anything or not and I tend to overthink everything.

So here's my two part question ❤️

What are the chances that it's more than just sex now?

Am I going to scare him away if I ask him flat out?

Well it was more then a first date if you was having sex for a day and a half the first time you meet haha so not surprised your hungry for more, it's been all pleasure😂dopamine boost through the roof haha, and ask him flat out what? Not to be in a relationship but if that's the direction he sees it heading in. And the sex was amazing but all of it was amazing and it still would have been if the sex wasn't there. The way we just talked about stuff was like we had known each other for years, to me at least.

Okay so did you meet him on that app that night then? So you haven't already spoke or seen if the other person is looking for a relationship from the beginning? And sex should be amazing 😂if it ain't you got problems, that's good you had a fun time out together to and felt a connection that's nice. I mean you full throttled into it from the beginning haha just take a breather unless thats all your after then enjoy if your wanting more then you probably want to slow down might be about late for that now though😅🤷‍♂️maybe just try not to overthink it and go with the flow see what happens.

This is all very dumb but you don't have to ask him if it was more than sex because there wasn't really much going on besides sex. If he doesn't ask you out in a few days, maybe it was just sex. If you don't want to wait, just ask him "so when are you taking me out to dinner?" and then you can have sex again. See if he wants to spend time with you outside the bedroom. Ask him to go out and do something fun with you. If he doesn't, then it's just sex.

It might be fine, but I would still proceed with caution. Infatuation can be very misleading, and can cause you to overlook a lot of things.

Why though? We can make friends that quickly and know that we get along that well. Not saying I'm ready to marry the guy, just want to know if I should have the conversation about it being more than a hookup or just leave it alone.
