Exactly. Like someone saying that they love their partner but don't pay more than minimal interest into what they say or do.

Of course I do. I also show it all the time. I do all sorts of stuff for her to show how much I appreciate her. She does the same for me. She is constantly surprising me. That is a way of showing it. I'll do little things too to show her how special she is to me. I have total respect for her. I'd you don't have respect for your partner you don't really have a relationship.
