Because that's the definition of a player. That's what they do. They play people and discard them. That is the whole "game" to them. He gets off on the fact that he gets what he wants and then doesn't have to put in any actual work that a relationship requires. This is typically the type that just wants to get you in bed and have sex and nothing more. Once they do that they move on to the next person and repeat the cycle.

i see you do not fully understand what a player is. "keeping you as his woman" is a relationship and players do not do relationships.
