Is it toxic my guy friend who has never met my crush tells me he must think I’m not worthy / not good enough for him?

Because he never says hi to me in person but talks to me online and acts distant he explained it’s because he’s not over his ex and is trying to figure his life out and was in his own head about it but my guy friend says he must think I’m not worthy enough of him

Why is everything toxic? When men say things women don’t agree w it’s always toxic. The difference between women and men is men will almost always tell you the truth, you may not like it but if you want a real answer go to a man and ask. I don’t mean in a relationship either, men will lie to women a lot to spare her feelings or because he did something wrong. Women on the other hand tend to spare each others feelings. No you’re not fat your body positive, no you’re not a whore you’re owning your sexuality, no you’re a strong independent woman paying your own bills, etc. In answer to your question some men, like on this forum both men and women say all kinds of thing because it’s easier to do so online. In person if you’ve never had experience w conversing w people it can be hard. As for him not being interested in you, it’s to early to tell especially since he’s still trying to get over an ex.

It's not toxic he's just tryin to tell you your better than what your doing. Your literally making yourself available to a guy that doesn't want your time but you won't bake of and leave him alone. He's trying to save you from embarrassing yourself
