Do guys act stupid around their crushes? Even if they are kinda smart in reality?

Yep some do I've noticed. It's almost like they can't help it and become this totally different person. I don't know if they act goofy to try to make us laugh or what it is but I have noticed this a bunch of times with me and friends. That usually goes away if you go out with them. Some never change though and are always in the constant impress mode. Why they think acting like a dork impresses is beyond me. I mean it can be endearing and cute at times but constantly doing it gets annoying.

It's not so much them acting stupid, so much as a lot of guys just get awkward around girls they like, especially younger guys.

It's mostly just a lack of confidence. They are afraid of saying/doing something stupid, so they are overly cautious, which makes them awkward, clumsy, and stupid.

Some guys will grow out of it, and some won't.
