Would you move desks if a guy kept harrassing you at work?

Anonymous

I posted about this a few days ago.

A guy who is 23 kept asking me to go for a drink after work. When I turned him down he asked again for a coffee and lunch. Both times he wanted it to be only him.

Tomorrow is his last day.

I'm in a tricky situation because another lady opposite us has her WFH day that day.

I don't want to sit next to him all day by myself and make small talk. Most of my good work mates also have their WFH day also, so I have noone to go to if he asks again.

The lady, her face faces my face. Then my back faces his back.

I planning on sitting at the ladies desk so there will be a big gap where I won't have to talk to him.

Do you think he knows I'm trying to avoid him?

Also other people who know me will ask why I'm not sitting at my desk on his last day.

I was planning on saying.

"He hasn't got rid of his empty boxes and they're piling up so I don't have any space, when he breaks them down he'll be all over the floor and his recycling bins are taking up too much room in the small area."

Is this believable?

I just don't want him to ask me again to do something and when I say no, he'll be right there.

If he tries again, I'm going to go to my manager.

I can't WFH this week as end of month is always busy.
