nothing has ever happened between us. Never dated, sex, exchange numbers… I always just felt like he was nice and extra friendly.. didn’t really think he had to kind of avoid me. There’s no reason to? I don’t get it

It's typical for people to focus on a new relationship. I hope his new girlfriend isn't telling him that he shouldn't be friends with other women.
