1.7K opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic. Lack of confidence within himself , low self esteem , doesn’t think he is good enough especially when he notices an attractive girl that he automatically assumes is out of his league and feels he doesn’t have a chance with her , Most people our their own worst enemy when it comes to being attracted to someone , Most girls’ are the same way when they see a guy that gives her the flip flop feelings , she becomes nervous and shy thinking he won’t be interested in her as well so she keeps quiet.. So again most people our their own worst enemy and assume they aren’t good enough if they don’t look a certain way etc. Most people compare themselves to others and think to themselves that they aren’t as attractive as that other person is , We all have some type of insecurity within ourselves that we hate about ourselves , when someone else says we are attractive or good looking we automatically assume they must be blind unless you have complete confidence within yourself and just say Thank you , I know lol

I think you understand it. You just don't like it. So you choose to pretend you don't understand it because this is just the way many women are towards men. The only utility a guys has is to you.
I'm not shy. I probably was in my you youth. But thats because back then I valued what women thought of me. Now I only value what my loved ones think of me.
I think all guys have to develop this perspective of thier role with the opposite gender. And some guys do it quickly some guys take a little while. And until then they're "shy".

+1 ysome guys are just shy... some may have sick thoughts... but it's best to smile at a girl it puts her at ease rather than having a guy just stare at you without any facial expression... i mean it would help if he smiles... i know how it feels some girls can be mean and all that... maybe even laugh at them... i really try and not be a bitch.

+1 yFear of rejection or of offending the girl or of losing her friendship. The last one is stupid because if you guys are already friends she’s not gonna stop being friends with you just because you asked her out and she said no (unless you make it weird and then that’s on you).

@enterr10 I have never seen a girl do that unless the guy made it weird

Been there. Lost a best friend (female) like that. Had every opportunity to sleep with her. She gave every hint to be saying yes. I kept saying no. When I told her i regret not going along. She ghosted me.
- +1 y
@enterr10 No. Because I told her that i regretted not sleeping with her.

@enterr10 Well she and were naked around each other most of the time. We would watch and talk to each other showering. We both had chances. We were better off as friends. We wouldn't have last as long as friends if we did. She actually said it to me first. Plus she's the one who picked me up in the bar/club.
- +1 y
@enterr10 of course I did. But she was an adult. She's seen them before. Same as me seeing her p*ssy and tits. She did grab it and ask if I wanted to put it somewhere. I told her wherever she wanted me to. We both just laughed and moved on.
Interesting friendship huh? - +1 y
@Mansearching that sucks that she ghosted you. She shouldn’t have done that. You guys should’ve talked things out:

@enterr10 nope.

@WhitneySnow. I wanted to. She didn't I guess. With all those years of friendship. Helping her with the death of her mom and her divorce. All that other happened before. I told her that I regretted after the death and divorce.
I wish she would have talked to me. - +1 y
@enterr10 I never did. I would have rather had sex with her.
- +1 y
@Mansearching she has the right not to mess around with you if she doesn’t want to but she still should’ve talked to you about it instead of just ghosting you.
- +1 y
@WhitneySnow. She did ask me to donate sperm. Her husband was fixed. But she rather had it done naturally. She said might as well have fun with it. Now if it was for that reason, no hesitation. I would've done it.
Its different. Deep down it is. Donating and having sex with a friend is totally different. - +1 y
@WhitneySnow. All that sleeping with each other and chances happened before her getting married. We both were single.
Now the donating thing was while she was married.

+1 yWere not shy we just know our boundaries, but We don't Know you'r boundaries so is like walking on "eggs" we wanna make sure we don't "break" any. 🤷♂️
00 Reply My boyfriend was very nervous and shy at first because he said he thought out was out his league and he didn’t wanna mess anything up between us. When a guy cares about u and likes u that means he will wear a filter. He will be careful about what he says and does because he doesn’t want blow his chance with u if he even has one at all. That can amount to a lot of overthinking resulting in him being shy. But over time now my boyfriend treats me like any other bald head twit around here 😂. He’s not shy anymore and I still like to bring up how nervous he used to be just to make fun of him. Now that he's tapped this he thinks he’s the man 💪🏼😭
25 Reply1K opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic. It´s mostly the fear of being seen as weird or not being good enough and not meeting expectations he thinks she has. Like people expect guys to make the first move so a guy might get shy because he doesn´t want to mess it up. He doesn´t want her to look bad at him. There are other reasons like he might be not good at starting a conversation with anyone and because girls are said to put a special emphasis on words and what they could mean that makes a guy think twice about what to say.
11 Replyyou must be a sweet heart because the reason is because some women can be very snotty about it and put you down hard while laughing at the same time. We take all the risk at rejection because we have to approach, and risk getting shot down in a ball of flames. Be the rare type of woman that have class

+1 yWell... it kinda happens in the same way that a girl gets nervous around guys. The guy is worried that he can't measure up to what he thinks the girl (s) would find appealing.
Combine that lack of confidence with the fact that women sometimes like to give men a hard time for a laugh, and some guys can't handle situations like that.

+1 yIt really depends on a lot of things, from the guys' own personality and characteristics to the family they've been raised into. I myself as a shy guy think me being raised in an environment where no other girls (except siblings) were available to play with or date or crush leads to me being awkward and nervous around girls. But that is just my experience.
10 Reply7.8K opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic. A lot of people believe shyness is influenced by social experiences. It is also believed that shy children develop shyness because of their experiences with parents.
00 ReplyAt first is always a given to be shy at first especially if you're really charismatic. But given a little time and hang outs, the shiness usually gets less and less intense.
10 Reply2.2K opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic. Fear of being rejected. Fear of looking stupid. Not sure what to say.

00 Reply14.3K opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic. Because they’re afraid of rejection and that breaks their back that they are rejected by a pretty girl it would make them feel unwanted and ugly. And very depressed
00 ReplyGuys are not shy, they just pretend to be shy and when you expect it least they will turn into a monster

Opinion Owner+1 y@Nifrayu I just find it a turn on when guys act shy and quiet. I enjoy flirting with them, and this sometimes leads to a crush, and I've sometimes fantasised about the guy if I'm attracted to them.
Opinion Owner+1 y@Nifrayu there probably were girls attracted to you when you were like this, but no one likes to admit this. They are shy also.
