My male friends only tease me?

It’s actually starting to affect me a lot. It didn’t bother me at first cos I took it as harmless banter until I realised it’s only to towards me and not my other female friends in our friendship group. My guy friends only pick on me: only calling me ugly, or only calling me a whore etc. I don’t get why, surely if they were just having fun they would do it to all of us. But no, just me…

If you give off the vibes that you're super chill or don't take offense as a girl, guys can sometimes take that as meaning they can get a free pass at treating you as if you're one of them. And especially if you're not particularly beautiful. You may not be ugly but if you're average and pretty friendly with the guys they will sometimes treat you that way.

You should just keep it real and be like, "Hey, chill with the whore/ugly jokes already." And if they don't like that and want to change up on you, then they aren't your friends. Friends respect feelings and wishes, not get offended because you don't like being offended.
