Why would guy stare at me when I walked towards him and sat down but during the whole date he couldn’t look at me in the eyes?

A lot of guys seen to have a problem with making and holding eye contact. It's really sad. Eye contact is awesome

If he had no troubles conversing will, my guess is he just isn't used to making eye contact. It was something I really had to work on but now I absolutely love it.
