What Guys Said
Turned off isn't how I would describe it. I think what I don't like is the way some women with kids pretend they see you as a friend, when they actually think of you as a potential mate, but don't want you to know that. They're really just trying to play it cool like friendship, yet want to go places with you like a couple, or even try to invite you to go places with them and their kids because they want to see how you'll be with them as a deciding factor in them wanting to date you. Some women with kids want to look at you like a try-out, and that's what I don't like.
I’m not turned off as far as dating a single mom if she’s cute. Not saying I’d want something serious w her. There’s too much involved w that. Especially if the ex is still around, if he’s an asshole, etc. Tje children will always come first, which should be the case but as the man you’re always trying to get time w her. It’s not that easy for her to just get up and take off on the weekend for a little trip or something. Disciplining the kids is a whole other issue. Most women don’t want someone else to discipline their kids but they expect you to protect them as well as her if something happens. You’re expected to bring food for everyone, not just the two of you but again you have no say as far as the kids. It’s just way too much.
Yes. For several reasons.
