He always says good morning to me and asks how I am, he will have small chats with me occasionally or sometimes long conversations, his friends supposedly know about him bc he will mention his name and ask about him, he will stare at me constantly, always asks me for gum, always says my name when passes by and literally always has his eyes on me ( not sure if he is just watching me if I’m working) etc is he just friendly?

And also our boss put up few people that she acknowledged and I didn’t know my name was up he came up to me telling me I was on there so he gave me the phone to read and he was like see it’s you’re name and he said my name out loud, y’all think he being friendly?

Yea. He’s your coworker so basically he doesn’t have any reason to be rude with you. My main advice is you should check his interactions with other girls and if you’ll find out he’s kinder & nicer with you than with others it’s your turn to express your oppenness towards him.
He does interact with other females but I feel like he approaches and gives me certain attention more for some odd reason but I’m not planning on having a relationship with him anyways I already know how it goes , just his friend start sayin how he might be in love with me,… I’m like yo I doubt it’s love but if anything more like lust
Honestly the one main part I’m confused about really is why is he soo watchful over me like I’ve noticed he watches me a lot and mainly me it is I person’s haven’t seen him do it with anyone else other than me bc if I’m on the other side he will stand and watch or turn over and glance why is that? No his actually one of the new ones been here only 6 months I’ve been longer
So here’s the answer. He is trying to get some good company since he’s relatively new.
For me it’s obvious if someone is friendly with me I am trying to “act” kind. It’s called politeness.
