Why do people have plastic surgery or cosmetic procedures?

people at work have blown up lips, nashes and angry eyebrows, what am i missing. is why im single because i dont look like that? do guys like this?

I currently live in LA and it’s a - shall we say ‘unique’ place. Cosmetic surgery is very common here and I’d even go so far as to say mainstream. I know as many women with breast augmentation as without. These are doctors, lawyers, educators, nurses, military, and first responders It’s their choice and far be if from me to judge. Personally I prefer a busty girl so I see no issue with it, but can agree wholeheartedly that the duck lips, facial stretch, and butt implants I see sometimes are absolutely disgusting.

Something fairly simple like a nose job, hairline reduction or mole removal isn’t a big deal. But facial re-sculpturing, lip injections, fake boobs and this dumb BBL fad are horrible. I don’t know who is convincing these women they need these procedures but it certainly isn’t the average guy. I can confidently say that isn’t the reason you’re single.

Absolutely not. Maybe some do, but many men want the real deal. They don’t want Barbie dolls. Also, imagine all the pain and money you have to deal with just to look fake. And who’s to say those women will have healthy and long lasting relationships?

Some things may work. A lot of it is over the top. You’ll find a variety of preferences but pretty much all want to get in a girl’s pants.

In my opinion I think it has a lot to do with self love people tend to allow others opinions dictate what they feel about themselves
