I am just wondering why he seems to not even care when its hitting me hard but i am feeling better and moving on now. I was wondering if it hits men later or something. Any experiences?

he might just not care, the myths you see online and in youtube vids of how, oooo the woman starts off soo sad, and the man the opposite, but in the long run the emotions are reversed is kinda b. s. there's no way of accurately gaining any form of data on this either. chances are bro just dont care, and thats more reason for you not to aswell.

There absolutely is a, mostly valid, stereotype where girls bawl their eyes out for a few weeks and then picks themselves back up. Men in the same stereotype go for a beer, laugh it off and then spend the next several years processing and trying to get over it.

It is a very melancholic approach. I find it to be true for most men I know, absolutely not all. But yeah, generally we grieve later but longer.

Generally yes. Women usually grieve the relationship straight away and then move on, whereas guys move on straight away or distract themselves, and then the grief hits them later.
