hungout with a guy (first date-ish) was with him and his 20 other male friends (kind of an awkward situation since i had to hold his bags and his jacket while he rode around town with his friends on their bikes for like 2 hours)
we were at some sort of sit down place with all his friends, i was super nervous since i’m a naturally shy girl so i was not budging from his side, his friends didn’t speak directly to me so i knew i was kinda left out.
but, one of them was particularly pretty annoying, kept asking if i was gonna go home without making out with my date, another one of his friends kept telling him i was looking at him with “bedroom eyes”.
the first friend was kinda poking fun at me, since i’m from Cuba and they’re white, from Spain they would joke about Fidel Castor and Scarface, i didn’t mind that, i thought it was pretty funny. then, he brang something up that made me extremely uncomfortable i felt my face kind of go hot. i was sitting next to my “date” with his hand in mine placed on my lap, kinda cuddled up to him, and his friend then said “wow those scars are crazy, what so you cut yourself like with a huge knife from the top of you wrist down your arm?” i laughed it off and my date totally heard but didn’t say anything at all.
i don’t know why but that put me off everything, even my date. just the whole situation was awkward.
but, am i overreacting? or should i just brush it off. id honestly rather just spend time alone with my date instead of with his stupid friends.
