Why did my crush and his friend laugh at me?

I passed by my crush and his friend, and I thought I heard someone yell something and I looked back a few seconds later, and they were giggling and smiling from ear to ear. My crush looked at me multiple times while laughing and a huge smile on his face and he didn't break the eye contact (which is unusual because he acts super quiet and shy when he is alone.) So why were they laughing at me? Is that a good or bad thing? My crush was acting so different today. His friends were really showing off, and he just kinda slipped into the background.

Must have been something embarrassing on you or you looked weird. Maybe the shout was an insult and you didn't hear it so your reaction could have been funny to them. Jw how old are you?
