So I just started college a few months ago & I say hi to my crush & that's about it. One time I ate lunch with him (just the two of us) & his friend was smiling & recording a video of us with his phone & my crush smiled & waved at him. When my crush's best friends see me around when they are together they smile at me & kinda laugh, but not in a mean way. Also, when they are with my crush they point me out, & so my crush looks at me for a bit. When his friends are by themselves, they only look at me. I have never talked to his best friends & don't even know their names.
