It's unlikely that she will reach out to you since you messed up, it's up to you to apologize. However, I think her following you back was a good sign. If she didn't want to do anything with you, she wouldn't do it.

I hope you’re right. In the past I apologized but it was in the heat of the moment and she didn’t respond. I’m unsure if sending Another apology years later is a wise decision
