Are guy to guy friendship is as open as girl to girl friendships?

I mean me and my friends are really open to each other, we know everything about each other, sleep over, we even had baths together, we dont have any sexual intentions as we're straight but we dont mind seeing each other naked , massage each other, do eachothers makeups or watch some anime or movies. I've never seen guy-guy friendship be like this, or maybe they never told us!

We just talk about some of the same stuff. Compare experiences with women, try to figure out who's lying but let them have their moment. Advise one another best we can and then its about movies and life choices. Oh and at least three promises of future help on various topics.

A down side I'd say is the convos are much more vulgar or harsh than I'd like. They'll go on and on with how they'd rail a girl or why they never would and I'll be truly just focussed on how my basic conversations would be with the girl, but I put a front on like "oh hell yeah shit I'd plunge her like a toilet. About 5, maybe 6 pumps and done. Then I'll get a swirly" Close to an actual convo we had. Lotta wham bam thank ya ma'am talk. there's an unsaid competition to be as off the wall as possible as well so I try but I don't know its a fine release of social energy with them I guess, just barely care to do it. I try to steer the talks best I can. a lot of chill times too so there's a balance somewhere at least.

guy friends are quite different. example I have never once heard from a guy friend what his wife or girlfriend is like in bed. guys will talk about dates but they will not talk about bedroom stuff because guys know private things are private. same reason why we do not show each other our penises. now guys will absolutely roast each other at all times. some of things said would either make you blush or would start some serious world destroying fights if between girls. reality of guy friendships is you know he got your back always and if he needs you you got his back.

Yeah I get that. The reason I said that is because that is the standard outcome for relationships when guys share details. That is why guys tend to not do that. Well jt depends as guys have thier own way to be open but you know guys are quite honest with each other at least if they’re friends even much more than their wife I mean they find it easier or more reassuring to talk to somthi gs about their friends rather than family or else and to complete the answer, guys do bond through sports , movies videogames , sometimes from fights or wrestling but they also have a sensitivity so the talk about how they feel in their own way and in different ways, I would say that in that guy’s friendships are close to notto say equal to girls friendships;ofc each friendship differs lile there are girl friendships wich are not that open and free and so on and the same about guys so depends on the people but on general tbey are about the same in their own respective ways!!

My friendships are just like this. Now... I've never showered or bathed with my guy friends but I have seen them naked. They've seen me naked. We don't care about it. We know we're straight. Sleep in the same bed right next to each other. We slap each other's dicks or balls to get a rise out of one another (Not that kinda rise). We tell each other just about everything. Doesn't matter what it is.

I tell my friends I love them, not because I'm gay, but because I know them as if they were my blood brothers. And I treat them as brothers. I'll help them through any situation I can. Loan them money if I need to. Or go pick them up if they got a flat tire and don't have a spare (even if they are an hour or two away).

For the most part no male friendship are no that independent which many argue to some degree why male loneliness could be such a issue as men don't tend to creat emotional bonds with friends that don't mean guys need to see each other naked but if they have a issue not worry about leaning on support from friends I'm lucky in that I have a pretty close knit group of guys I can trust

Most guy to guy friendships are not nearly as open as girl to girl friendships. This is why I actually find it easier and more comfortable to be friends with girls in general. I seek a level of openness and emotional intimacy in close friendships that is hard to find with other guys in a society that teaches men to be closed off with each other and that everything is a competition, and that's much easier to find in friendships with girls
