Do guys like messaging or do guys prefer talking in person?

Because the guy I like, will occassionally message me first, but a lot of the time its me who does.. and our conversations are good. But because he doesn’t message first as often makes me doubt whether or not he likes me. YET when we see eachother in person, he gets quite shy and I get these signals either from his body language (constant glancing from afar, or gravitation towards me) and the way his friends act around him when I’m around, that he might actually like me? So, are some guys not texters as much as girls are? Does your frequency of messaging determine to you how much you like the girl? Or no?

Well texting has a negative side effect as when you are in person even if you are shy you can at least tell some things or work some things out while when you text you are distanced and you can’t tell the reaction and so on and instead you became more stucked with nothing to say and doubting each text and running infinite simulations of worst cases or how can the other person view the messages and also you get hypersensitivity that makes you feel even more anxious so it can be quite a hassle!!

I for one would rather talk face to face. Even before smartphones, l would drive somewhere before l would call them to ask a question.


I had rather talk to my date face to face as well. Why text/talk on the phone so long that once the two of you meet up, you’re like, “So, what do you want to talk about?”


Now, because of the job duties around me at work or related, l prefer to text. This way if that person is occupied, they can respond at a time right for them. If it is an emergency, they will know it when l call first.

I've found that a lot of guys aren't big on texting and would rather talk in person. I know my boyfriend isn't a huge texter. He just does it because he knows I like it. But he would rather talk on the phone or in person.

Most of the guys I've met they prefer to, because they can make eye contacts, the jokes are easily understandable, hugs, the warmth, etc.

Texting is for brief, simple messages, not long conversations and especially not for anything with emotional nuance.

I would avoid analyzing guys' texting behavior and texts at all costs. There's so much that can be misinterpreted around texts.

Some people are not great texters, or just don't like to text often.. If you notice signs more likely than not he likes you.
