- the same (female friends) were all very good cooks... so many times, I could very tangibly see, touch, feel and experience the awesomeness of how a homemade pizza made from scratch can be so much better than a chain one

- most people really like to feel happy, appreciated, liked and loved... so, with all of them, girls that are my friends... I could also very tangibly feel, see, and experience how sometimes, the most sincere and genuine caring hug can help you a whole lot, at the lower points of your life... not only emotionally, mentally but also physically, that very tangible sensation of relief can make the worst of your stress just wash away

@Astarlessnightsky I used to think that way too. But I have an INFP friend who has helped me realise that if I don't need any tangible benefits from a friendship, that means I just need the intangible benefits.
Example: I help a beggar on a street and I feel good about myself or feel appreciated for doing a good deed. That is intangible benefit.
