Is he trying to get romantic with me?

I have coworker who says he’s very shy. He has a girlfriend somewhere far away that I’ve been told about, but somehow has never come up in conversation. One time when I did bring her up he seemed incredibly uncomfortable, so I never did again to respect his boundaries. We’re very playful and make each other laugh a lot. I drive my sister crazy with telling her about every single interaction we have trying to decipher what’s going on between us - she’s convinced the attraction is all in my head. He does this weird physical banter with me where he’ll softly punch me or nudge me with his shoulders. Today he does it on his way out of my office and I’m teasing him that I’m upset about something that I asked him to do and so I brush his light punches off with my hands and suddenly he opens his fist and interlocks his fingers with mine - and I feel this is a bit intimate so I quickly maneuver out of the position by pulling his hand out of mine with my other hand, and pressing his hands to his back. All the while, I was sitting down and he was standing - so he just sits on me! Lightly of course. He’s very gentle. The whole scene ends in me erupting in laughter for how ridiculous it was. Now I’m so confused again and trying not to voice note my sister another 7 minute long message on whether this behavior is normal between two coworkers that get along? Or if there’s something deeper going on that I should be aware of?
