Why do men open up to me?

I seem to always have men open up to me about really personal, sensitive thing's in there life's for no reason.

Even men I completely don't know will tell me the most scandalous things about themselves and ask me to promise not to tell anyone.

I feel like a priest or a therapist or something. I don't mind listening I think its great but men are starting to feel comfortable talking about feelings and stuff and I wouldn't dream of putting a man down for it.

Most recently I had a co worker text me at 3 in morning asking if I knew the sick line for work when I text back I asked if he had the cold that's going round at work.

He opened up to me about having a mental breakdown and I've been talking to him all day trying to help him. I've only spoken to this lad a couple of times but I've ended up having to be his mum today. The thing is I thought he like 19 turns out he just looks really young and is actually 32.

I have partner and I'm always there for him too but I feel abit bad having all these men opening up to me when he's the only person I should be focused on it's just I can't turn a person down whose upset even if its someone I dislike I will never let someone feel alone

Probably because a lot of men are completely lonely. They truly have no one to talk to. It is sad but a lot of men get zero female attention, so when they meet a woman, they open up.

That actually makes perfect sense but its so sad to hear. Woman get lonely too at times but we will always find male attention even if it's unwanted.

He's not a bad looking lad and he's really nice I'm sure he could find a nice girl if he tried. Maybe I should set him up with one of my single friends

So many of my male friends ask if I have any single female friends I can set them up with but as horrible as it sounds all my single female friends are single for very obvious reasons like they are over weight, strange looking or loud

I am out of dating completely. This generation we live in is so self-centered. I have got into photography.

Thing is I really do care and worry about this generation of men there's a big issue with loneliness with them and it breaks my heart to see as a lot that talk to me get really excited but finally someone's taken notice and cares and they tend to over share but they even care because they are just so desperate to talk to someone who will be kind to them.

It must be so hard thinking no one get there back or cares 😕 I wish I could do more to help these men I really do but I'm one woman and I get scared but just because I'm being there as a friend to these men and showing that I care but they will become attached and start gaining feelings for me when I've already have my amazing partner

@Puppystarfish23 hey its true you sound offended, but.. Men are open with women they aren't attracted to. They usually put up a show to impress the woman they find attractive. Therefore, they do not open up to them. Newsflash you're not attractive
