i don’t consider myself extremely emotional but i’ve been crying a lot more than what i’m used to and at random situations. my boyfriend and i had sex and right after he got off of me and was laying right next to me i started crying he goes “why are you crying?” and cuddled me immediately, then we went to his parents and i saw his little cousins playing together they are 2 and 3 and i started crying like crazy again he kinda laughed and gave me a hug. he is always confused but always always gives me a hug but i’m not sure if he’s annoyed by it since a lot of times he won’t say much just the “why are you crying?” and hug me. this morning i wanted to play with him before work and he said no because “you’ll go meet your parents with your eyes all glossy from crying” and to me that was rude and we got into a fight, he got back to bed while undressing and said “what is it that you want to play with?” “this?” pointing at his dick i didn’t say anything just stood there and he said “come on before you start crying”. he texted me saying sorry and that he didn’t mean to be mean to me later.

Can you explain your feelings? If my girlfriend starting crying at the times you mentioned I too would be concerned.
My first thoughts from reading what you wrote is that you are feeling like you want a child. Only reason I would think when you cried watching children playing. Then I would thing about crying after sex… did you cry because you were using birth control? A smart man would be thinking this way and if it was my girlfriend I would sit down and have this conversation with her about it.
Regardless of what is causing your tears you need to talk to your boyfriend about it. It sounds like he is getting frustrated.

i don’t know to be honest with you i don’t have a reason, just random things seem to set me off and make me cry for no reason

It’s ok to be a ultra-sensitive person. What I suggest is that you talk with your boyfriend and explain this. Tell him not to mock you when you are like this but just hold you. Eventually you’ll figure out what it is that’s making you so sensitive.

If it's emotional blackmail, then it should be addressed. You can't do that. But of course not everyone who cries often does that. It can also be a problem with hormones. It can also be caused by contaminated food. That's why men can also be affected
