Why do men who cheat blame say it’s because they don’t trust you?

Is it true that men who cheat cheat because they have trust issues, or is it a bullshit excuse and it’s really something else?

The same reason women do. It’s because nobody wants to take responsibility. They want to minimize, justify, excuse, and everything else that they have done. They can’t face it. Not to themselves much less anyone else.


Being held accountable isn’t something people can do. If someone will cheat theh are likely to be a slimey person in general.



Not all men cheat or not all women do. But this is a trait in BOTH sexes who cheat.

I've actually heard more women use that excuse to justify cheating, the classic "you made me do this because you didn't pay enough attention to me" thing.

Guys cheat purely out of lust, they can love you to death and be your rock and then they get the selfish urge to satiate their sexual desires with someone else. The fact that's it's wrong turns a lot of people on, including women I've noticed.
