How to stop liking a guy thats taken?

There's this guy at work that I like who is unfortunately taken.

I've worked with him for a year and still have on and off crushes.

We hang out at lunch and have coffee catch ups and a few chats throughout the day & joke around.

How do you move on from something that's never going to happen?

I'd probably stay away from him for a while, better yet keep the fantasies out of your head too! It makes the crush much stronger if you fantasise about being with them all the time, and what future you could have with them. I wouldn't cut him off completely unless you REALLY couldn't get over him after a year. You need space away from him and focus on other things, hobbies, work tasks, meeting new people (this is a big one). You might think he is the only one for you but trust me, there are many guys out there you could meet

By killing any thoughts of anything happening in your mind being attractive yo him is fine but crushing is when u are cultivating thoughts of a future between the two of u
