I hurt someone, should I apologize?

I hurt this guy by insulting him, should I message him and apologize? How will he take it? Will he be more mad since I admit I'm wrong? Or should I just leave it? How would a guy react to a girl apologizing?

Yes it is always good to apologize. It shows you have realized your mistake. However, there is a small chance that he might not accept your apology.

If you hurt someone, you should apologize. It doesn't matter if they accept it or not. A sincere apology will benefit you by acknowledging your error and not carrying around the guilt. Even if they don't admit it, it will be beneficial to them, as well.

There are things that I've done that I wish I had apologized for and still would if I ever encountered that person again.
