How do you find Turkish men?

I don't date and therefore, I am not interested in their looks. However, I have had a personal negative experience with a Turkish man in Istanbul on Galata bridge a few years back.

I was visiting Istanbul with my parents and on Galata bridge, I came across one of those numerous shoe cleaners carrying his wooden box containing his utensils. As I approached him, he surreptitiously dropped one of his brushes as I passed by. I picked the brush up and handed it to him thinking I was helping him.

He seemed grateful and he hinted that he would clean my shoes for free as a gesture of appreciation. I was naive enough to believe him. After he finished, he asked my father for EUR20 for cleaning my shoes. Needless to say that I got very upset and my father menaced to call the police on him for tricking tourists.

Since then, I have changed my opinion on Turkish men. Unfortunately.

Yes, unfortunately, there are such people in our country. I'm sorry for what you're going through, but you should know that not all people are the same. I understand how well-intentioned you are. 🙏😌

However, I must say that the country is absolutely fabulous. I tremendously enjoyed Istanbul and loved the ruins in Ephesus. I also took a cruise to the Black Sea, leaving from Istanbul and going to Trabzon.

Yes, our country is very beautiful geographically. I haven't been able to go to different countries yet, but I want to go out very much. Do you have any suggestions that I can take?

There are thousands of very nice places to chose from. However, if you want to go to Europe, you will need a Schengen visa and the Nordic countries, Switzerland or Austria are expensive.

If I could chose, then I would travel to Scandinavia in Summer, to Italy in Fall and to Japan in Spring.

The older men were reasonable and friendly.
The younger ones were arrogant brute machos.
