Why is he acting distant after being controlling?

Yesterday he was all controlling biting me to not go out, telling me I only belong to him, asking me for kids, and pushing me to post our picture on social media.
Please tell me a reason or how to deal w/ it before I stop believing in love 🥹 I posted our picture and some potentials stopped talking to me. Am I that ugly to not have a chance with an attractive guy like him.
I’m not sure if it’s because I’m cold or he’s just using me even if he’s not asking for sex
