When you say I like the chase and challenge... then what are you really saying? You want him to work for it, and not to be clingy or desperate? So, you want him to put out the effort with low expectations on returns?

I mean that's the message most guys would take from that. And honestly, it's insulting to any self-respecting man. Because what you are really saying is that if you want to be with me, these are the expectations.

It does not matter what you bring to the table if you are not offering any of it.

When you tie clingy to desperate... well, that tells me you do not like physical touch... and that usually is more do with reasons other than romance or love.
