Do men really prefer a woman who would cook and clean for him?

Sounds like guys like that had mommy's who did everything for them and want a partner who will continue to serve them meals, do their laundry, and clean up after them just like mommy did.

Once I move out of my parent's house, I learned how to cook, clean and take care of myself. I never expected that from a girlfriend.

My wife and I share household chores. It's nice that she is a good cook and makes delicious meals a few times a week. But I also cook.

She works at her job four days a week. She also does lots of thoughtful things for me. But I reciprocate.

I would feel weird sitting back while she did all the cooking and cleaning. I don't want to be treated like a spoiled child.
