Why do women complain that a man wants a wife who cooks & clean?

Often here women say if a man wants a wife who cooks and cleans he wants a mommy not a wife. If a woman wants a husband who provides and protects, does she want a daddy

My first guess is that they can't or are too lazy to cook and too lazy to clean.

Then there is the 50/50 arguments I hear... but if you get to know those chicks, yeah they'll make just as much money but they don't hand it over like him. 50/50 on cleaning and cooking when he's renting the place and paying more than his fair share and probably paying her bills, starts to look unfair. That stuff isn't my problem though.

When you have a slob of a fucking woman you have to ridicule just to get her to brush her teeth and take a shower, does nothing but make messes all over the place, and can't even put anything back where it belongs... I start to think god damn woman! I start to not care she's making the money, while she's making me do more than there should even be there to do. I'll be stuck with 2 kids dealing with that shit all day and she comes home and just checks out on her phone while I'm still cooking and cleaning while they all just play on their phones and do nothing... my job doesn't end. -Now a chick in my situation, I completely understand her starting to complain about it... anyone should have the basic skills that the kids are learning better than them.-

Also most people's incomes are too low to afford all the bills plus the expenses with kids.

Women who want a guy to pay for everything, instead of having duel incomes, are stuck with only a very tiny percentage of the adult male population.

Less than 16% of men make 6 figures a year, and most of them want equally rich wives so they can't get their money taken during a divorce.

How do you know it worked? Why get a wife if you just want her to work for you? Why not get a secretary and an investor. That seems cheaper and more practical

Lol a secretary is not a company co-head, an paying back an investor is not cheaper, neither are content creators, and i'm not being her employer, i'm being her business partner and project collaberator. We willl both have the same exact job title, and there won't be anyone above or below us. Just a 2 person crew making stuff and selling it and splitting profits.

Because that’s not what men typically only want in this day and age. A lot of them want a woman that does all the cooking , cleaning and provides her half too. I dealt with this once already in one of my relationships. The moment he watched me clean the house instead of helping I decided to move out of the house we moved in together. Why? Because he wanted me to do 75% while he does 25% and I’m sorry that’s not how it works. So I don’t think women have an issue wanting a woman that cooks and cleans, they have issues with men that want women to have stay at home mom tendencies meanwhile she still has to provide and put in effort when it comes to paying for her half.

@Shamalien absolutely agreed! I feel like it’s because a lot of people in this day and age date with no agenda. People got married and moved in together back in the day to raise a family. Now people in this day and age date when they can’t even afford to date whether it be money wise or they can’t cook/clean. Just a bunch of people trying to date that bring nothing to the table.

I thought I finally found a good one but she had all sorts of mental and emotional issues and her family basically sabotaged us because they thought I was immature. 85k a year at 28, independent, play piano, lots of friends and tall and good looking to boot but I didn’t go to university and I am a bit socially awkward around new people so welp, let their daughter remain miserable I guess

Trust me it’s tough to find a good wife even if you have a lot going for you

@kylee2437 she was 22 and in a bad place since her last breakup. But back to point, if I want a hookup, easy as pie, if I want a girl for a good wife she’s really hard to find!!! Even the ones who look good end up having all these issues x. x if you have any advice I’m ready and waiting lol. Point being that even if a single woman or man fixes their issues and makes themselves a good potential marriage partner (something I’ve done over the past 4 years through sheer will and perseverance) the dating market is still what it is, full of messed up immature people

@Shamalien trust me I’m in the same boat as you lol I would definitely make for a good wife not to toot my horn but I think it goes back to the point that many people don’t want specific gender roles anymore which complicates the balance of relationships. Christ if I didn’t need to work a job and just cook and clean , my cooking skills would be impeccable at this point

They have to share and follow certain days I do this and you do this. Cooking and cleaning it’s a sign of love and respect. If done mutual like in 50-50 but if I go 60-40 it means I have so much love for them it’s not like I am a maid. That’s how I see it
