Why would a guy who used to be all over you turn arrogant and genuinely disinterested in you?

If you were always on friendly terms, nothing happened between you and you still look and act the same. He was a guy from college that was always happy to see me and we talked about very intimate things. I had a feeling that he really liked me but to me he was just a friend. When I met him after two years of not seeing each other he almost made it a point to appear uninterested and kept looking at other women while talking to me and he takes weeks to reply to short messages that would take seconds to answer. I don’t look worse, maybe even the opposite and afaik he doesn’t have a girlfriend. So why does he act now like I am below him? He is not all that

My first thought was maybe you look different. My second thought is he has bo personality so doing the whole dreading game to get you hooked to see if you have low self esteem could be it. Or he's just not that interested in you. You could ask him... maybe other things were on his mind
