I made sexual advances towards a guy I know. He seemed interested until I think I was doing too much and he may have lost interest... can I recover?

Ugh that's rough. Making a move on a guy and having him not be into it really sucks. But don't beat yourself up, we've all put our foot in our mouth before chasing someone. The good news is it's definitely possible to come back from this as long as you own up to it. I'd say message him apologizing for coming on too strong, say you misread the signals but you really value his friendship. Then give him space - don't double text or bring it up again. In time if he's cool he'll forget about it. In the meantime work on your chill! Next time go slower, get to know him better without jumping right to sex stuff. You got this, just be cool about it and you can totally recover the friendship. Don't stress, we all learn from embarrassing moments!
