No. For me personally, no gift can ever be a mistake to purchase, because my goal isn't to try to 'bribe' her into having a relationship with me. My goal, first and foremost is always simply to please her, and as long as that's accomplished, I feel hugely successful. This is why I often buy gifts, including some fairly luxurious ones, for women who are married or in a long term relationship with her boyfriend, and if possible, I'll try to get a gift that they can both enjoy, so he won't feel left out.
