I've once heard someone mocking a man for these reasons. That jerk was one of those people that goes with along with the mantra of men always having to be strong, suck it up and be a man. Personally I think these are valid ones. Would you say these are good reason for a man to really cry? What do you think?
- His long-term girlfriend said no to his marriage proposal. There were no issues in the relationship, all was good but she only wants him as a boyfriend, misled him, gave him false hope.
- A serious ilness in the family and he's overwhelmed with too much in his life that he can't bottle it up anymore and breaks down in tears, letting it all out for once.
- He finds out that as a result of a medical condition or genetic mutation, he'll never be able to father a child ever. I knew someone like that. He sat down, pulled his shirt over his head and literally broke down in tears.

2/3 of the reasons are pretty silly, unless his long-term girlfriend waiting until marriage then it don't really matters, as for being infertile, it has some advantages, like having much less need to worry about birth control, also he might say that it from God or something, if he born that way. Marriage and children are things that women care about much more than men, so he crying over women's stuff. If his wife going to die from serious ilness it the only legit reason for a man to cry, usually after she died.
