Why is he acting weird after our break up?

We still love each other but we’ve been having problems because he literally discusses our relationship with people I barely know and we would talk then next minute somebody is telling me something completely different.

I told him we need space from each other and we agreed. And we do want to work things out just not right now.

We have the same friend group and he’s been acting weird if he sees me with one of his male friends. Like if I’m coughing he makes out like his friend is doing something sexual to me.

He told me I belong to the streets because a random guy was flirting with me. I asked if he was jealous and he said no. I said clearly you are because of what he said about me. Then proceeds to tell me that I’m too friendly with guys.

The fact that he's making passive aggressive comments when you're hanging with other guys is a dead giveaway he's super jealous. Trying to insinuate something sexual is going on is such a lame move too, like chill bro.

He's probably feeling insecure now that you're not together and doesn't know how to handle it. Calling you names is immature as fuck though, that's not cool at all.

I'd just ignore his petty ass comments and do your thing. Don't give him the satisfaction of a reaction. And maybe avoid him at group stuff for a bit so he can get over it.

Seems like he needs to sort his feelings out before you guys can be cool again. Just give him time and space and hopefully he'll come around. Not much you can do but be straight with him when he acts a fool.
