Hmm that is weird. If you guys were getting along and texting normally, and then all of a sudden he just went cold, there's gotta be something up.

A few things it could be:

- He met someone else he's more interested in now. Some dudes will just ghost when they find a new chick.

- He's going through some personal stuff and isn't in a good headspace to text much. But should at least let ya know that.

- Maybe he misinterpreted something you said in a text and now thinks you're not interested or something. Guys can overthink stuff.

Next time you see him in person, I'd just try asking what's up. Be casual about it, like "yo we used to text heaps, everything cool?" See what he says. If he's still acting off then maybe he's just losing interest and it's time to move on. But at least give him a chance to explain himself first. Communication is key, gotta get on the same page!

I think it's much worse if miscommunication leads to misunderstandings. You aren't dating, but you are interested in him, so I think the risks associated with talking about this topic despite not dating are lower.
